Enis’s cafe is the weirdest place in London! It smells like a damp cellar. The walls are pasted all over with pictures cut from magazines which makes you wonder what is underneath. Throughout the place is decorated with empty jars of some kind of paste, the jars have not been cleaned out so smears of the paste remain! I never have seen anything like it. The owner was so friendly and tried so hard to be accommodating. I don’t think they are used to customers. My coffee was £2 and there was something floating in it which I can only hope was skin from the milk. Looks great and quirky from outside but it’s definitely best experienced from a distance.
