The Peel is Kingston’s prime gig venue. It also hosts rehearshal rooms, sells beer and cider. Has fruit machines, pool table, has rather manky interior but perfect sound quality.
Ideal for a grungey live music venue I have been here loads of times over the years and the gigs are great. It can attract a few underagers, so make sure you have ID on entry if you are blessed enough t look young. If you are not, don’t go chatting up underagers, or drink booze int he car park from the offy. the bouncers dont like that much.
If you are over age, rejoice. There is a not so secret strip bar at the back where you can see some. The girls have got better over the years in my opinion and therefore I rate this place for sheer uniqueness a four out of five.
