Saughton Park is a lovely park that isn’t actually known to all.
The park is large with various park equipment for children. Most of the park is covered in bark but there is a sand area for the younger children and a fantastic wooden building for playing with the sand. Children can spend hours of fun there. With benches nearby where parents can keep a close watch.
Surrounding the park on one side is a large field where many children play football in the summer, perfect if you’re taking older children with you.
There is also a winter garden nearby, with perfectly arrange flower patches and hedging. They havean indoor tropical area where there is a fish pond, where everyone makes a wish.
The park and gardens are all free entry and it makes a lovely summers day out for all the family.
If you’re feeling hot after, there is an ice cream van which is always parked by the park and gardens.
