Home of sport to the east part of the city.Council are trying to pull it down and start again,But the public are up against this,As where would those participants go?.
Many Olympic,World,Commonwealth champions started on this venue-Chris Hoy(cycling) is angry with the Velodrome, the only one in Scotland?!.Pull it down, nearest place-200 mile away!!.
Also held there is a football ground,in Europe many cities have a football ground at their national stadium.
Meadowbank Thistle played there before their controversial franchise move to the WildWest..Now Edinburgh City play their home matches, this is a non-league club, with a future at a higher place in Scottish football available, thats if the right people can be found, two people had the ideas, but were controversially turned down by Walt Disney and Looney Tune characters..All in all this stadium must stay open to the public, and also properly looked after, security wise.
When you are in Edinburgh for the festival, give the place a visit on a saturday afternoon,It is sheltered from inclement downpours..We all look forward to seeing you.
