The location is what makes this place.
It tends to get very crowded, especially in the summer, and can also be a magnet for tourists. That said, there’s something very pleasant about cycling there and enjoying a cold beer while watching the punts!
As others have said, this is a pricey place. I’d go so far as to say it’s very pricey. On one occasion, a pint of lager and a pint of orange juice cost us £9!
If you’re an Oxford resident, then you already know it’s worth popping in here for a summer beer. If you’re a visitor - well, you’ll pay for the privilege but it’s a great place to go.
