The name doesn’t conjure up a very pleasant image!!!.....but hey!!!...this place is the biz!!....You really need a car (or a bike from the previous review!!!!!)...as it is a bit off the beaten track…but worth it when you find it. What an exceptional place.There were a couple of dishes “for two” including rack of lamb and rib of beef.The menu was interesting, the food excellent and the service pleasant. Would recommend it highly. The wine list is quite well chosen and had very inexpensive wine by the glass. The overall meal was of very good value as well as excellent service, “simple and honest” food, and a lovely atmosphere. Dont go without booking…............................ Make sure if you go for sunday dinner to call ahead and book a table. Don’t get too full of wine or other beverage as you will never find your way home from here…..they say some people have never been seen for years!!!!!!!!!!
