Compliment Phil Chambers (15-05-2008) 5

What better day out in London than tea with the Queen?! For a paltry £15 you can take tea and scones with Her Majesty, a slice of something truly English. When I stand in front of here, hand on heart, thinking of all my tax returns that have gone to maintain this fabulous place… it brings a little tear to my eye.

TIP: be sure to check the flag is up, otherwise, she’s not home.

I’m assuming she’s not actually visible during the tea? LOL

Does she serve it? I’m not going unless she serves it.

I’ve just had a three year VAT and tax investigation and have paid up and am free. its fairly obvious you can’t pay yours. just remember you had it and spent it. guess the £15 is for internet fees inside, eh. Mind those showers. I’m sure for another £20 we get the photos, and us members will contribute a penny each, or at least those that are as bored and cynical as myself. I am sympathetic, but the difference is I wrote a poem to the tax man, called ‘Mr.Tax Man’. However if I’m completely wrong, I apologise. Equally I shan’t bother you with an excerpt from the book i’m currently working on called ‘Grooming my Womble’.
Mind you, I like a scone….....prox
