Having spent many happy hours in Thailand - eating far too much lovely food in little family run restaurants, corner cafes and from street vendors - I love going to Thai Classic on Whiteladies Road. It instantly takes me back to Bangkok and beyond…It isn’t about the fanciest decor or the trendiest tables and chairs. It is about the friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and absolutely delicious food at really reasonable prices. Be warned that the menu is vast (including a few Malaysian and Singaporean dishes) and you could spend longer choosing than it takes your food to come! Everything I have had thus far as been pretty authentic in my humble gastro opinion and tasty. So give it a go, even if it is for the drunken noodles…an apparently v popular dish!
