I had seen the Galleria so many times from the road, passing under it, and been curious. Was really looking forward to visiting it but it is a souless place.
Although it looks huge it takes hardly any time to go around and has nothing to recommend it in the way of differnt shops. They are the same as any high street.
A large open area in the centre was laid out as a furniture vendoes. The stuff was ugly..even tasteless..and overpriced.
Quite a few restaurants..untried but mostly the usual chains.
The only saving grace, for me, was a pleasant cinema complex where we went to see Stardust.
So much anticipation..such a disappointment.
