Fun, lively and cool Moroccan restaurant just off Regent Street; the decor is great and the food excellent (but avoid starters and stick to the couscous and tagines).

Loud music, funky atmosphere, relaxed but efficient staff make it a popular place during the week and at weekends (you need to book).

Not the place if you like quiet conversation, or like to linger (they have a pretty quick turnaround and you are normally given a 2 hour window when you book).

Expect to pay about £50 per person for 2 courses and a bottle of wine.

a quick tip, I went there last week having not made a reservation (classic for me) and we were offered to have dinner downstairs in the bar (turning into a private member club later on) with a more limited menu but very good and good value too (£30 for food for 2 plus drinks). Worth thinking about in a world where so much need to be planned in advance (unfortunately)
