Knust is a mid-sized gig venue and bar. The really big bands don't play here, but a lot of the cool indie bands do. People like José Gonzalez and The National. Concerts are generally priced at around 15 euros and normally start at about 9pm.

Knust isn't the most obvious place to find. Half the problem for me was finding the street "Neuer Kamp" which is basically the same road as Feldstrasse - it just changes its name part-way along. Knust isn't actually anywhere near the road either, being located at the far end of quite a long red-brick building (there are two around a big courtyard). It's basically across the road from the underground station and Uebel & Gefarlich.

Once you find the place the first thing you'll notice is a big cloakroom, which is actually outside the venue proper. Leaving your coat costs 1 euro.

Inside Knust, you first find yourself in a dive bar, but once the gig is about to start they open the doors at one end to let everyone into the venue proper. The main hall has two levels and a further bar. You should get a good view from anywhere...
