Hidden corner as the name of this restaurant translates is really a hidden place: you can find it in Ajdovscina passage, under the Mobitel office. Unfortunately I cannot call it a great hidden gem: the food is alright, but nothing spectacular. The lunch was ok, but gave me no "I-cannot-wait-to-come-back-and-try-everything-else" feeling, which for me, at least is essential when eating out. It is a great place to have a delicious, reasonably priced (and mostly healthy) lunch (especially for students with coupons), but be prepared for a crowdy atmosphere. The only minus I could find about this bar/lunch place is that it is so packed. In evening it is a great place for a drink, although not one of the hot spots. Sometimes interesting live-music events are held there. Global has closed down a few years ago. Club Top (same location, but renovated) is the place to be (along with the newly opened Cirkus). It is especially packed on Wednesdays (18+, mostly rnb) and - of course - on Fridays and Sutardays nights (21+). Nice cocktail bar in Portoroz. Near the harbor. The mood is the best. Just relax, hear the music, have a drink and watch out of the adriatic sea during the sunset. Great. (anthokra, 20-09-2011) 4

It is very difficult to go to the gas station, it impede the truck entrance. The access road is very busy with trucks. Only the friendly staff is laudable, otherwise it is the only gas station that opened in the area 24 hours. (thomasmayer13, 12-07-2011) 2

Last week we went to gostilna Mencigar Nobile in Ljubljana on socializing with my colleagues and we ordered smoked goose breast with horseradish ... great stuff .. we drank their home blue frankinja, open a wine. For dessert, we chose one half Mura gibanica and pumpkin ice cream ball, a colleague took jurkin liquor. Mainly I can say that you can eat very good and cheap if you order the basic stuff, but can also be somewhat expensive if you want of course :-) I recommend to all who have any business partners from abroad because they have some to offer and hard to get anywhere else.
