Hidden corner as the name of this restaurant translates is really a hidden place: you can find it in Ajdovscina passage, under the Mobitel office. Unfortunately I cannot call it a great hidden gem: the food is alright, but nothing spectacular. The lunch was ok, but gave me no “I-cannot-wait-to-come-back-and-try-everything-else” feeling, which for me, at least is essential when eating out.

It is a great place to have a delicious, reasonably priced (and mostly healthy) lunch (especially for students with coupons), but be prepared for a crowdy atmosphere. The only minus I could find about this bar/lunch place is that it is so packed.
In evening it is a great place for a drink, although not one of the hot spots. Sometimes interesting live-music events are held there.
On Tuesdays (after 8 pm.) there is a speciall offer consisted of dinner and all-you-can-drink for only 8.50€ (http://www.roxly.si/pdf/A5_party_subsidized_web.pdf).

Global has closed down a few years ago. Club Top (same location, but renovated) is the place to be (along with the newly opened Cirkus). It is especially packed on Wednesdays (18+, mostly rnb) and – of course – on Fridays and Sutardays nights (21+).
Both VIP and ‘regular’ terraces offer an incredible view over Ljubljana.

Nice cocktail bar in Portoroz. Near the harbor.

The mood is the best. Just relax, hear the music, have a drink and watch out of the adriatic sea during the sunset. Great.

Nice Hotel near the Highway direct to the North of Sezana.

A hotel own restaurant with very good meal is near by.

We stayed one night on a trip to Hungary. Our impression:

interesting concerts, no mainstream

It is very difficult to go to the gas station, it impede the truck entrance. The access road is very busy with trucks. Only the friendly staff is laudable, otherwise it is the only gas station that opened in the area 24 hours.

With colegues from high school we had one dinner together due to celebrating birthday and I must admit that atmosphere is great and also service fantastic.
