“ We've lived just round the corner from this chippy for over 20 years, and spent way too much in there! Their meals are delicious, but, this review is about the quality of their chips. Their actual chips are HORRENDOUS! They never change the fat/oil, so the chips uniformly taste of foul old oil.they use a machine that is set to cut chips that are needle sharp slivers of woody potato.they ALWAYS use warmups, refried, so that they are a dirty brown, crispy, woody, oil filled mess.my advice is, order their meals with rice... But if all you want is chips and pie or a fish... Then go elsewhere or go without.until the woman who owns this place loses enough business, they will continue to sell disgusting chips.
