I cannot stress enough how much I do not recommend living in MCR's Cathedral Campus. Upon moving in to the house I was shocked by how small the bedrooms were and the condition of the furniture in the house. Everything fitted in the house is old and obviously very cheap. Although you might expectant the furniture in student accomodation to be cheap, for the extortionate £92 I pay per week to live in this house, it definitely not worth it and you would expect something of a higher standard. Everything in the house creaks, especially the floorboards and the heavy firedoors. The desk is very small and the mattresses unbearable to sleep on unless you consider buying a mattress topper. The staff are slow to respond to any malfunction in the house - one of the drawers in my bedroom broke within a week of moving in and despite numerous visits to the reception to ask to have it fixed it remained that way for over a month, further diminishing the small storage space available in the rooms. In the first day we moved in one of the kitchen chairs broke and was not replaced for weeks and weeks, despite there being more people in the house than chairs available a numerous requests to have it replaced. If anything breaks over the weekend, if you need to speak to the staff about a problem or if you want to pick up a package there is no way you can do this because the reception is closed and you simply have to wait until monday when it opens again. When you first look around the houses the staff will tell you that the cathedral only rings its bells sporadically, about once a month - this is not true they go off much more regularly and make i very difficult to get a lie in on the weekend. I particularly discourage living here if you are a University of Liverpool student; the majority of students here attend LIPA or LJMU and will always finish their exams before you. This means just as yours are starting to begin theirs have finished and while they are having fun celebrating, you are suffering in your room trying to sleep through the noise you can hear through the walls. I really cannot emphasise how much I do not recommend living here, if you are in first year find better halls and if you are in second or third year, look for other private student housing.

My teeth have never been more clean in all of my life. My tongue literally slips off them. The team here are class as well, proper down to earth and that, you'll be making friends and sorting your teeth out if you go.

The food is very good. The atmosphere is pleasant too. The mix of good food and soul music just works. Staff were a bit miserable but not massively so. Some of the signs and the notes in the menu are borderline agressive! A good experience all in all though.

Really good place to get cosmetic work. I had some bonding work and my teeth whitened and they look fantastic. Huge thank you to the team here for making my teeth dreams into reality.

I would defiantly recommend Paul Webb as he is a great teacher that also makes you feel relaxed and confident when driving. I passed my driving test today first time with flying colours thanks to Paul. Great instructor.

Sakoon Cafe on Lodge Lane Liverpool offers everything you would want from a good cafe/restaurant. The food is tasty, fresh and full of flavour. The food offered ranges from a full english breakfast to fresh kebab grills and salads. Lots to choose from, very clean and a relaxing place to take your friends! A change from the usual greasy food!

I had a brilliant experience at Infinity last week. Went in for my first spray tan (they offer Xen Tan products which are lovely) and the owner - unfortunately I didn't catch her name - walked me through every step. She made me feel comfortable and was very friendly. I also had my eyebrows threaded which was done very professionally and quickly. In total I paid £31.The salon is like a little oasis on a small side street. Thanks again for the lovely services!

Great bar with lively atmosphere. Came with some friends and had a wicked night out. Be warned though; it get's pretty packed after 9pm and there are loads of wannabee wags hanging around.
