“ A lovely friendly atmosphere but do not let that fool you. After spending close on £200 for my daughter and myself for two facials and pedicures I was given the 'really over the top' hard sell to purchase the products they had used. This spoilt the whole experience for me and I shall never attend the salon again. I was a regular customer over a five year period. The girls working there were obviously under instruction to push the products they used. Fortunately my daughter was not subjected to this but she will not use this service again. “ Although rather expensive, this is undoubtedly the best jewellers in the Leeds area!The staff are very friendly and well informed and, having shopped with them for many years, I have never failed to find just the right piece of jewellery for my wife or our two daughters...in fact, our teenage granddaughter will be benefiting from my next visit just before Christmas.We have also had watches and jewellery repaired here and the work has been very successful every time. “ The jokers at LA Fitness in Yeadon tried to charge me £9 for a padlock. I didn't hang around long enough to find out any other prices - I can only imagine. Can I interest you in a £3 can of coke??, or a £25 pair of swimming goggles?  - maybe an £85 towel?. A ridiculous gym - trying to charge the Earth in Yeadon! They already close at 4pm on Saturdays and Sunday's, unless the padlock sales pick up they'll be shut in a few years!! (NINEPOUNDPADLOCK, 13-11-2012) 1

“ DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT buy a kitchen from these cowboys, I only gave them one star becouse you have to give a rating before the review will be publishedAll i have to say is - Norwood kithens use sub contractors to do the fitting. The sub contractors get paid per unit fitted, the more they fit the more money they make!!!!Neither Norwood kithens or the sub contractors have a work shop, they operate out of a van.If you want a quality product, professional service & value for money do NOT use these cowboys, I did and have lived to regret it. “ I always wanted a Classic contemporary store for my hall, and what could be a better place to buy this than Leeds Stove Center. These guys had the largest display i have ever seen. The sales representatives were very helpful and talked me through to buy the perfect stove which is perfect for my place.A very wide and nice collection.I would happily recommend them for your next purchase. “ I bought a black granite fireplace, before buying this i was a bit confused about which one to buy. I browsed through a few site and then i landed on  http://www.directfiresonline.co.uk, they had store here in leeds itself. I visited the place and it had this amazing collection of fireplaces on display. The sales staff guided me to buy the right piece which could complement my apartment. “ I highly recommend Dogsbgood - I have trained with Wendy since before she went self employed and followed because her training methods are great. I have also recently taken advantage of the communication sessions she offers (with past dogs that Wendy has never met) the information was spot on and she really put my mind at rest over their wellbeing. “ Really fab place.  The decor gives it a loft feel with railway sleepers as the shelving.  I followed my hairdresser to this Salon but the owner Matt has also cut my hair before.  The only two guys I would trust to do it right.  Very friendly staff.  Reasonable priced and you get offered complimentary wine, beer, tea or coffee.  Give the place a try, no need to be nervous as everyone makes you feel so welcome. “ When I worked at Leeds Bradford airport used to occasionally pop in for fish and chips. It's consistently pretty good, although if you sit in to eat you pay about 60% more, so would normally get it from the takeaway part and sit outside if it wasn't raining. The portions are big, and the fish is always good, although sometimes find that the chips are a bit greasy and could be cooked for longer. Not sure what they fry in? The place is always busy, mostly fleecing grey haired patrons of their hard earned pensions. Edit - I went back recently for the first time in 3 years and it's ridiculously expensive for the takeaway. (gecko2, 23-04-2013) 3
