Visited this Restaurant on 21st March 2013 with my Wife and other Family Members. The Staff, Surroundings and Service were excellent and the Restaurant was busy. Wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending it to anyone. We were given a plate of Poppadoms and a variety of dips on arrival, not charged for !!! The Four of us decided on the 5 course meal and all courses were excellent and plentiful. We also had 4 pints of Cobra Lager and a Bottle of Wine. The Waiters checked, on several occasions, if our meal was OK which it was !!! We were also given top-ups for the Teas and Coffees we had. After paying the Bill, which was less than £100.00, we were asked if we would like Complimentary Drinks. Two of us declined and the other two, the Ladies of course, had a Gin & Soda and a Vodka & Tonic. We will be back on our next visit to this beautiful Town and the friendly Community !!!This doesn't seem like the Restaurant the previous Reviewers visited but, on the timescale, it could be under new Management. My Sister-In-Law said her daughter new the Owner as "Joy" which the Waiter told us wasn't his name. The outcome was she called him that because he always looked happy and had such a nice smile. Personally "It was a Joy to be there and meet him." Like Arnie "We'll be back" !!!

I look after my 94 year old mother so needed a replacement washing machine quickly. I visited Peter Watts and talked to Jay- he had a selection of machines but was able to supply any other make. We discussed what I needed and I chose a Samsung Ecobubble which was in stock. He pointed out that it was bigger than normal so suggested I go home and check the measurements- no hard sell at all. I did this- phoned back later and went ahead with my choice. It was delivered next day, installed, old machine removed all for the cost of the machine. He also re-hung a cupboard door which would have hit the new machine. So within 24 hours I had a new machine installed and working, I was delighted and will certainly go back to Peter Watts in future. The cost compared well with any online site as they tend to add charges for delivery, installation and removal of old machine so the final price can be very expensive. I doubt very much if any online site could give the same service!

Lovely rooms, still no Internet (which is a little disappointing). The food in the restaurant is absolutely superb, with friendly service and surprisingly reasonable prices. The best burger I've ever eaten. Oh yes.

This particular shop is located within a small precinct in the centre of a housing estate, with parking available right outside the front door. Other nearby facilities include a Post Office, Newsagent, Corner Shop, Hairdressers, Cake Shop, and Betting Shop. The Fish and Chip Shop is open both at lunchtimes and in the evenings 5 days a week (closed Sun and Mon). The food is excellent quality, and the staff will cook many of the items to order, which is great as you know the food hasn't been sat there waiting for a long time or re-heated from a previous opening time. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are more than reasonable.

My wife and I were married at Hengrave Hall in October 2012 and it was the most memorable of days. We had family attend from as far as Australia and everyone was so impressed and taken back by the stunning house and responsive happy staff. Hengrave Hall itself is steeped in history and is one of the last examples in the country of a house built around an enclosed courtyard with a great hall. The owners have tirelessly brought this amazing house back to its former glory. This in itself is huge acheivement. I would recommend anyone to go and see Hengrave for themselves, it is truly one in a million. 10 out of 10!! David and Ruth Miller

I have sent an email to merit as the bottom bit of my shed has a piece of tongue and groove missing, exposing the flooring to the elements, but have not had a reply yet. I am doubtful of getting any swift response, and the previous review does not bode well for my chances of getting my shed repaired. I will update this in a day or two as to what merit have done, if anything.
Georgie04 I would like to say that my shed has now been repaired. The guys that called soon got it sorted and were very helpful and polite. I am happy with the outcome and my shed!

Great place, really nice and friendly atmosphere. Have seen the ladies in here style adults and children, it's great how they make the kids feel so special. You're always made to feel at home, get offered refreshments, hot or cold and they never seem in a hurry. They do deals if you follow them on social media sites and the prices are the best I've witnessed for professional treatment you always receive. I highly recommend Bliss.

I decided to take my two grandchildren to Nowton Park only to find that the play area is being redeveloped over the Easter holidays - who decided that this would be the best time to do this work. If I remember correctly the same timing was used when developing the play area in the Abbey Grounds - during the school holidays.

This small takeaway pizza outlet is handily placed with some off road parking (but not much). There are normally some special offers to be had on pizzas, although we never buy side orders as this rockets the price up very easily! Friendly staff and nice food :)

Visited Bury St Edmunds 19 - 26/3/13 on holiday visiting relatives. I happened to mention I enjoyed a pint of Real Ale and my Brother-In-Law took us to the Bar on Sunday afternoon. The place was full, Staff very Friendly as were the Customers. Being Scottish I bought the first round, three Pints of Beer and a Shandy £8.80 !!! Being Scottish I queried the price!!! It was correct !!! My Brother-In-Law and I had another Pint Each - Red Diesel - Excellent - Price £5.20 - couldn't believe these prices !!! Last orders called at 14.45 and the Jovial Landlord came round urging everyone to buy more drink- He needed the money. Didn't know Bar closed at 15.00 but didn't want another drink anyway and the two Ladies had drunk enough also !!!. Suffice to say 2 Pints of Real Ale before dinner makes you a little bit light-headed !!! Never Drink on an empty head !!! Liked the General Ambience of the Pub, Very Friendly Owner and Staff, Toilets and Bar Area spotlessly clean and Excellent Prices. Will return next time I'm in the Area.c
