I am an absolute M&S Food fan. I love their sandwiches, desserts, egg tarts! and much much more! Recommend it for a snack or for lunch or just to stock up on lots of goodies for home! (Of course Borough Markets is near so your shopping cart is probably already overfull but foodies know better!)

Really disappointed in this place. It is ridiculously overpriced for some services (I was quoted £160 to get my hair put up in a simple style that cost £30 in another Muswell Hill salon). Once went for colour there and, despite having had the consultation in advance, was told they didn’t have time to do that in the appointment. She then put a few foils through my hair instead & left my hair still wet at the ends when she dried it. (I hadn’t asked for a full blow dry service after colour, but this was ridiculous!) It didn’t look like my hair had been touched by colour and the overall finish (because it it wasn’t finished!) was atrocious! Decor is nice, but it’s all style and no substance.

I enjoyed the food and it was of good quality. I was dissapointed they had run of a dish called koo koo sabzi. Service was good. The decor was nice, however I would have preffered decor reflective of Persian yesteryear.

Excellent, top quality persian food and vegetarian friendly menu. Manager and service staff are polite and efficient. Decor was nice. I have no idea why the website describes the food as Turkish.

The interior of the restaurant is authentic and pretty. There were no problems with service. However, the food was average and definetely not up to the standards of some other Persian restaurants.

2 Points out of 5

I joined Virgin Active in Chelsea because of a brilliant aerobics /
Body conditioning / and step teacher there called Brian.
His classes are tough and high energy. A great workout. The
staff are friendly. Unfortunately the showers and wetroom are
grubby and in dire need of an overhaul and a thorough spring
clean. The cafe area is like a morgue, with barely audible, crass,
brain numb squawk twittering away in the background. The very
small, grubby, pool is also in need of attention.
The aerobics studio is tiny and the yoga studio has columns
in it that obstruct free movement and the view of the
mirrors. If it weren’t for Brian, who is an amazing, one-off, teacher
I wouldn’t go there. The fees do not match the service provided.
It is not value money. For the state the club is in the fees should be half
the price; even with the friendly staff and a great teacher. Even the
body lotion is loaded with parabens and needs to be updated to a
user friendly brand…how many health and fitness enthusiasts
want to smear chemicals linked with breast cancer on their body?
Even supermarkets carry ‘paraben free’ products these days.
It’s a nice club that needs to be dragged into the
21st century and needs to slash its fees.

Babble bar cheated me – please be careful. I ordered ‘single’ drinks for a group of friends and didn’t notice that the bar tender (downstairs) had billed me for doubles. For a few drinks it was quite an ‘extra’ amount.

I complained to them the next day but they wouldn’t refund.

Would appreciate if someone can tell me where to register an official forum for complaint.

5 Points out of 5

This Optician shop in north central London seems really nice and homelike.
Icon is probably the only retailer in north London that stock IC Berlin glasses and sunglasses.

The retail prices of IC Berlin glasses/sunglasses are very good in my opinion.
They’re not too expensive and they’re not too cheap. Just about right.
Most other opticians that stock IC Berlin tend to be more expensive.

For example, opticians in the City that stock IC Berlin are always much more expensive than anywhere else in London and outside the M25.

Icon’s also stocks Jacob Jensen, a Danish designer for Bang & Olufsen.

And what’s more of a coincidence, the saleswoman I was dealing with is also Danish (Dansk) and so is the owner’s wife of Icon’s.

1 Points out of 5

WARNING!- do not buy a car from these cowboys! They are crooked car sales men!I decided to buy from them because they are a family business, so thought they could be trusted. I was very wrong! The customer service was good until I’d brought the car. After that I had to keep contacting them about persistent problems with the car. I had to send it back to the garage because the heating didnt work. This is went they started ignoring my calls and being rude. It went into the garage and came back still not working and I realised that the mechanics had kept my car for four days so they could drive 27miles in it, without my permission! The day after I got the car back the engine light came on which confirmed my suspicions that there was a problem with the engine, despite them saying that it had been serviced and MOT’ed and there were no advisorys. The engine was clearly going to breakdown any day and this obviously wasn’t a recent problem, so I took it back and asked for my money back. The garage clearly knew there was a problem when they sold me the car. I owned the car for about 10days and it was in the gargage for 4days. I’ve never had such a bad experience with any car sales men. I still find it hard to believe people would sell you a £7500 car knowing the engine was faulty!I advise you all to keep your money in your pocket and stay away from this place!! Any car from here will be more trouble than it’s worth!!
