O' Sullivan's - Southwark
3 Sumner Street
London SE1 9JZ
Very Junior stylist. Asian guy who meant to be senior stylist but didn't have a clue what he was doing, he had absolutely no idea for making the haircut look at least good. Zero attention to detail. He was very nervous for the whole time and ignored my requests to fix few areas that needed styling from my point of view. 'Saucepan cut' as someone mentioned above is quite accurate description of what I got. I'm very disappointing. I'll never go there again. I could get a similar or even better haircut for 10 quid everywhere else. (DMike, 19-05-2013)

Have used them twice. Once in 2013 and once last month. They promise the world but if you want a carpenter, ask for a hairdresser or if you would like a decorator, ask for a butcher. They have terrible quality labour. Instead use ratedpeople.com or checkatrade.comWould never recommend them unless you want foreign cowboys costing you more! Don't use them. Excellent locel pub. It's in a fairly convenient location for me so I'm an often visitor there with some of my friends. We like going there on weekends and having a few beers. It has a very interesting appeal and I don't think I'm ever going to get bored from it. (Coby Kennedy, 14-05-2013)

Premier Inn London Southwark - Southwark
34 Park Street
London SE1 9EF
We stayed at the Premier Inn Southwark on 8th March 2013 and from our experience we could find any fault despite waking in through the door. The friendly staff welcomed us with cheerfulness and helpful explanations of booking in and nothing was too much trouble. The reception were always smiling and making sure we were happy even after we had booked earlier and when we came back with our shopping. We had a lovely breakfast with great choices of delicacies and excellent drinks.Modern decor adorned the whole room and excellent bedding which were spotless, clean and comfortable. On checking out, the friendly staff sent us on our way with cheerful goodbyes wishing us a safe journey. We will definitely be coming back and we would definitely recommend Premier inn to all (juliesophermo, 13-05-2013)

A really charming place, perfect to sit and relax while having a cup of coffee. You get great quality and in the same time it is one of the cheapest places around. Moreover the staff there is just perfect. They make sure to leave a great lasting impression in each of their customers. (Kian Hamilton, 13-05-2013)

A nice little hidden gem. I love the place, it has this amazing atmosphere and a great service available. The menu is also suitable for every taste as it has many different types of food and drinks. The place is truly great and I recommend it. (Emily Hayward, 13-05-2013)

Tesco Express, Great Suffolk Street - Southwark
Unit 1 Great Suffolk Street

Well, if you overlook the empty shelves, it's probably the cheapest place to buy a sandwich in this part of London, which is a bit of a desert for shops and supermarkets.  I try to avoid the self-service machines - luckily they have a separate queue where you can wait for a human being to serve you.  Also, they often have big reductions on packs of choccy bars etc., which is great if you want a little treat.  Avoid between 12.30 and 13.00, as the queues tend to be a bit too long.
