“ A great Arts centre that was purpose built and is staffed by volunteers, cheerful volunteers, really.  It attracts some of the best performers in the country.  It is a registered charity, at last, and caters for all tastes, at a very fair price.  It has a superbly equipped auditorium that can seat a 220, or 350 standing audience.  There are other areas for hire and other entertainment.  Two fully stocked bars.....and the Thunkshop cafe in the spacious foyer.Well worth a night out.....especially when The Hot Club of Cowtown are in town....brilliant.  As well as Richard Digance, Georgie Fame and The Brighton Beach Boys....!!   Rockin' (John Green, 19-10-2012) 5

“ This is a store at the East end of Shoreham.  Although I've categorised as curtains, it stocks a whole lot more.  A veritable Aladdins Cave!!Just about evrything you need to furnish your house.  Excellent quality, excellent prices and excellent staff.  So nice, and they remember your face.I went in today for some Christmas Crackers, (even though I have my Lyn), and came out £25 lighter!!  However, I was pleased with my new coffee glasses, new umbrella, coat hanger etc..etc.Parking is excellent, though inexperienced drivers might have a problem!! hahaha..Great store to be in............ “ Looking for another computer servicing shop as the one near where I work has gone out of business.  Have been recommended to here, which is much closer to home.  Had a look in this morning, and was pleased with what I saw/heard.  Very fair prices, parts available but the emphasis seems to be on services offered.They offer ALL the services I require, and even offered me a professional discount.....nice!I have one notebook going in for an upgrade next week.Will come back to this one ............ “ Opened in 2008 and is well situated for Ropetackle residents.  There is a nice seating area availlable while you wait for your takeaway, and a really nicely furnished dining area....bit dark though.  Right on a busy roundabout as you come over Norfolk Bridge, so no available parking.Had lunch in here today, Lyn and I, and it wasn't bad at all, at all, at all!!!  Fish was beautiful...fresh, reet tasty and lovely batter.  Cod 'n chips, haddock 'n chips, 2 Pepsi's and roll 'n butter came to about £15.00.  Could be got cheaper, but we thought it was worth it!!  (John Green, 16-10-2012) 4

“ Another branch of the hugely successful baker.  There are others all over Sussex and we've been to most of them.  This branch lacks nothing in the way of freshly baked produce.  The cakes are a dream, or possible nightmare, because you don't know what to choose.The bread is so tasty, as are the young ladies!!! “ Brilliant pub, probably the best in Shoreham...!  Lovely green tiled front facade and edging.Set back off the main shopping area, it is not so well known used by visitors/tourists.  Very popular with local people interested in promoting Shoreham.Serves a fantastic range of Thai food, which has proved very popular in Shoreham.  Great staff, food and ale.  So close to a bus stop, (700), which means you don't have to drive.  Car park just to the North of the pub. “ Just up the road from M & S sales, so we thought we try lunch in here.   Although this pub is on our doorstep, we hadn't been in here for years and it wasn't all that good!!My My, how things can change.  Has been taken over by the Fayre Square chain.  They have invested quite a bit of cash in a re-furb, and successfully.Smart looking bar and eating area with a large garden at the back.  Plenty of parking.Food was pretty good ie Fish and Chips about £7.00, Pasta £8.00..(but I don't think pubs can do pasta).Would go back there...... “ Out looking at cars today, and knowing this firm, decided to have a look.  They have been trading in Shoreham since 1980  I can remember them starting.  They established a name for reliability, honesty, not producing gimmicks and misleaders.  Something they have continued to acjieve, judging by whar people say about.  Not a bad selection of cars, but sadly none which we looking for.
