Every-Avenue Title: In response to Sam
Review:
If you are going to leave a review such as this, please ensure that it is factual. You are the one & only person to every have complained with regards to Every Avenue. You were apologized to & everything was done to rectify the situation. I made it clear that you hold copyright to the pictures & that at no point would they be included on ANY website, let alone that of the photographer. You waited nearly a month before contacting me to say you did not like the photographer. By which time the offer had ended & all of the people who tried to book the date you had booked would no longer be eligible for the offer that you took up with Every Avenue. I have stated that this particular photographer has in actual fact covered the photography of one of my own family members weddings in January & they were more than happy with his work.
I recall that in your particular case, i forgot to mention that there would be a £32 travel charge on top of the photography package & so i informed you that i would waive the charge as i had forgotten to mention it in any correspondence. This charge would have been paid out of my own pocket to the photographer on your behalf. So this alone completely discredits your accusations of only wanting money. I would be happy for you to put up ALL the messages between us, as i also have a copy of them & i have been nothing but polite to you & tried to resolve the situation & put your mind at ease. If you cut & chop the messages & post them on here, i will then add the full version for all to see. I did not ‘tell’ the photographer to change his website Sami, i suggested it to him. His other work is nothing to do with Every Avenue. This is completely not true saying that we run with your money & is slanderous Sami. You are discrediting all my photographers who all have good reputations. Your reasons for wanting a deposit refund were unfounded. None of your pictures would be on the website as i stated to you & as for stopping you having a photographer at your wedding. You are still booked in for your wedding date with us. I never once said ‘tough’ to you or was rude in any way. Every single question that you asked me, i answered in full & you even thanked me for responding so promptly to you. You never once asked anything about glamour pictures. We have never had a problem before & all of our customers have been happy. You stated to me that you understood that the deposit was non refundable. On the grounds that you left it so long to decide that you no longer wanted to use the photographer & that i had turned down bookings & also that your reasons stating that your pictures would be on the website were unfounded, we have not refunded the deposit. You can however, still have the photographer on your wedding day in the knowledge that you have full copyright to the pictures. The package was £270 for a full days photography, along with a disk of between 150-200 pictures & a photo book of approx 20 images. I did NOT with hold any information from you at all. The photographers website as i stated to you was created after this photographer was signed to my books & i also stated to you that it was Every Avenues policy not to give out details of our service providers until the booking has been made for the simple fact of the customer trying to bypass us for the booking. All this was explained to you Sami.

Silversami Now you respond to me!
All of the above is true, I did thank you for being so prompt to respond before you had my money. I explained to you it took me so long to tel you I wasn’t happy as I was so upset and wanted to get a general opinion from others to make sure I wasn’t over reacting from the pictures and you say I discredit your photographers when I refer to them as doing glamour when those words came from your mouth not mine. I didn’t know I was supposed to ask if my photographer specialised in glamour and did wedding on the sides (the website has now been changed but I have screen shots of what it stated before) I assumed that I would be vetting a wedding photographer and maybe others as you said your family don’t mind that the photographer had a glamour photographer at their wedding but I bet they had the choice to decide I bet they were shown the website and why would I by pass you when the photographers wedding deal on his website was more than the wedding deal you offered me. As for slanderous, I wrote to you have saying I did not want your photographer and suggested that if you had the day re booked you could offer me a partial of full refund and nothing. I can see that you read the email and I have you 48 hours to respond and nothing. As for turning down other brides. If I remember I paid you 2 hours before your deal ended are you telling me you had 16 people in those 2 hours ask for the same date as mind. Why not advertise on your Facebook page a once only offer and try and get my fat covered for the same deal you could even add the travelling charges so your not “out of pocket” although again as you state you didn’t tell me of such charges so you could hardly charge me for something that wasn’t disclosed. I may be the only person that has ever complained about Every Avenue but that’s no concern to me and as i said in emails i have nothing against your photographer he can photograph what he pleases and is probably a very person but what i saw on that website (which has now been changed) I will never be able to forget ( I also notice these photos have been removed) and as I stated in my last email I do not want your services, so you can happily re book my date knowing that you have pocketed my £90. This is a review site so I am allowed to express my personal experiences with you as a company. So I’d appreciate not being accused of being slanderous when in my experience this is what has happened personally to me, feel free to print the emails I have nothing to hide.
